About Us
Youth Empowerment Strategies & Advocacy is a registered Community Based Organization dedicated to empowering youth and advocating for their rights. We work with communities and young people to create positive change and promote social justice. We are a non profit, Registered Community Based Organization founded by like-minded elite youth from one of the Marginalized Nomadic pastoralist community inhabiting horn of Kenya in East Africa.
WE ARE a grass root, Non partisan Community Based Organization whose aims was to eradicate extreme poverty and trigger social changes through youth empowerment, Mentorship, Community Dialogues and Constant Advocacy on various communities issues aimed at nurturing empowered youth who can champion community transformation.
Our team is passionate about creating a better future for youth and we strive to make a difference in our communities.

Youth Empowerment
Through this Program which is the key drivers and shaper of the development of Youth, we endeavor to continue to enrich their lives and life of those around them.
Economic empowerment is a key cornerstone of our approach to providing sustainable long-term solutions to marginalized youth, which will truly endure.
By helping Youth gain the skills and experience they need to secure economic independence, we are permanently breaking the cycle of dependency that has for so long robbed individuals and communities of the chance to live fulfilling and rewarding lives.
We also strive to Mentor and empower the lives of youth and their physical fitness via constantly organizing youth tournaments which also act as a platform for nurturing and developing talents among our youth and promote healthy living.

Youth Leadership
Equipping young people with the skills and knowledge to lead.
We have taken upon ourselves to nurture young feminist among pastoralist communities in horn of Africa for the purpose of shaping and positioning them for take over while we equip enable to break free from any forms of bondage that has chained them down for long. we do this by first studying and identifying some of the system factors which may have been disadvantaging women and young girls and afterward fronting alternative strategies and approaches which will help them in overcoming those barrier to women/girls development.
Below are some of the systemic factors we have identified and our action plan in addressing them in our bid to expand women/girls space.
SYSTEMIC FACTOR
Marginalization of adult women stemming from lack of early development
Limited control over assets
Exclusion from decision making
Longer working hours
Victims of rape and abduction during armed conflicts
Limited public appointments hence no role in policy making
Marginalization at the national and regional level
Lack of fair play ground in political processes and Leadership
OUR STRATEGIES
-Audit of local leadership structures and fast track government’s commitment on national and international instruments.
-Establish pastoralist women caucus
-Strengthen and develop internal capacity of women based organizations
-Civic education on women rights and electoral process
-Leadership training, profiling and supporting women aspirants.
-Provide continuous mentoring and guidance on how to articulate their issues as regards entry point to political arena.

Child Protection Advocacy
Fighting for the rights of children among the marginalized communities.
We help Children realize their potential and build their futures by enhancing safe space for their upbringing. We nurture children and strengthen communities responsibilities toward Child Protection and Care. We operated under the belief that inherent in every child is the ability to succeed and thrive in life.
We do this by partnering with other Children Related organization with similar aims of enriching and transforming child life among communities across the Pastoralist areas. We develop positive relationships that have a direct and lasting effect on the lives of young people.
Under this Sub-program, Our mission is to provide children facing adversity such as Child Abuse, Early Marriage, Child Labour, Child Trafficking and Female Genital Mutilation with strong and professionally support that will enhance their protection.
